Just Better Care is Geelong’s specialist home aged care support provider.<\/p>\n

Managing director Marianne Deans, a Geelong local and registered nurse, has a passion for providing excellent personalised care and supporting people to maintain their independence in the community.<\/p>\n

“Our aim is to provide exceptional care and support to assist those in the community to remain safe, healthy and happy at home for as long as possible,” she said.<\/p>\n

Just Better Care employs local community support workers and many of its care managers are nurses, which allows the business to oversee their clients’ clinical needs.<\/p>\n

The business offer a range of support services in the home such as personal care, cleaning, meal preparation, transport, respite, overnight support as well as dementia care, palliative, and post hospital support.<\/p>\n

It can also organise additional in home support such as gardening, meals, podiatry, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and much more.<\/p>\n

Services can be paid for privately or subsidised through a government funded Home Care Package. To apply for a Home Care Package, head to the My Aged Care website at myagedcare.gov.au or phone 1800 200 422.<\/p>\n

Just Better Care Geelong has been shortlisted as a finalist for the 2024 Geelong Business Excellence Awards.<\/p>\n
