FLYING Start Children’s Therapy<\/p>\n

Flying Start Children\u2019s Therapy mission is to provide children and families with high-quality, family-centred therapy services that support development, independence and inclusion to enable children to be their own unique self. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Brooke McKay (Occupational Therapist, Director) and Tess Feery (Speech Pathologist, Director) started operating in January 2020 and since then have expanded to a business of 30 enthusiastic and passionate team members.<\/p>\n

Flying Start provides Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Dietetics, Physiotherapy, Psychology and Play Therapy to children aged 0-14 with developmental delays and disabilities.<\/p>\n

Their team of allied health professionals operates from a purpose-built facility in Torquay, increasing the capacity of their staff through shared knowledge and a strong desire to support children in their community.<\/p>\n

Flying Start provides services from their clinic, at home, in schools\/kinder, in the community and via telehealth services.<\/p>\n

They offer individual services, more than 20 group therapy programs, assessment services and professional development opportunities to community groups.<\/p>\n

Their state-of-the-art facilities in Cylinders Drive, Torquay includes their own sensory gym and soft play space.<\/p>\n

Providing excellent services to the children and families they support, Flying Start are a finalist in the 2024 Geelong Business Excellence Awards, reinforcing they are an employer and service of choice.<\/p>\n

Team members are supported to pursue their clinical areas of interest and work flexibly, with regular professional development opportunities and team-building experiences offered.<\/p>\n
