Run by the Surf Coast Shire, the awards recognised young local achievers across five categories \u2013 music, art, sport, community and leadership \u2013 and drew a record number of nominations this year. Cr Martin Duke presented the awards in the ceremony at the Surf Coast Shire\u2019s council chambers, which also featured live music from Torquay teenage guitarist Finnigan August. The ceremony was also attended by Surf Coast Shire councillors Libby Coker and Rose Hodge, as well as Liberal MPs Andrew Katos and Simon Ramsay.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-9245
