RESIDENTS in the Borough of Queenscliffe can expect a phone call from National Field Services (NFS) as Community Satisfaction Survey (CSS) calls begin.<\/p>\n

Over the course of the month, the survey will gather direct feedback from the community about the council in core performance and service-related areas.<\/p>\n

A Borough of Queenscliffe spokesperson said the Victorian CSS provides a vital interface between the council and community.<\/p>\n

“Held annually, the CSS asks the opinions of local people about the place they live, work and play and provides insights for council regarding their efforts and initiatives.”<\/p>\n

Held statewide, the survey will cover a range of topics including Council’s overall performance Community consultation and engagement Customer service, and Overall council direction<\/p>\n

Results will be used to assist the council to better understand the local community and how they perceive the council’s performance.<\/p>\n

“The survey provides insights into how some of our services are performing in comparison to other councils in Victoria, identifying what we’re doing well and areas for further improvement,” the spokesperson said.<\/p>\n

The NFS is an independent research company commissioned to undertake the survey.<\/p>\n

Phone calls will never come from a mobile phone number and the interviewer will always identify themselves, never ask for a name and tell residents how long the survey should take.<\/p>\n

The independent survey is coordinated by the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning on behalf of Victorian councils.<\/p>\n

This round of surveys will run until September 15.<\/p>\n
