Mr Hudson said attendee numbers were slightly higher this year and it was a good turnout.<\/p>\n
“I think that’s indicative of the response, particularly the younger people, to remember a bit of history that they didn’t live through.<\/p>\n
“We must remember those who fought for our country, when the world was dark by the enemy and we must remember those people who died and served for us and gone before us.<\/p>\n
“It’s so important for us to remember, because it’s very easy to forget that we could have been overrun and not enjoy this lifestyle we have today.”<\/p>\n
