A clearance rate of 76 per cent was recorded this week compared to 82 per cent last week and 69 per cent the same week last year. There were 771 auctions reported to the REIV, with 589 selling and 182 being passed in, 84 of those on a vendor bid. The City of Ballarat has nearly doubled its number of auction sales in 2024 so far with 37 sales, compared to the same period last year. Its average clearance rate has also improved by more than 10 percentage points. Harcourts North Geelong sold 15 Caldermeade Road, Corio at auction for $505,000 and Buxton sols 32 Camden Road, Newtown at auction for $1,117,500.<\/p>\n
