TWO Ocean Grove sisters who want to help save the Javan Rhino from extinction have raised almost $400 from their home baked goodies.<\/p>\n

Arabella and sister Mem sold cookies, cupcakes, truffle, lemonade and bookmarks featuring facts about the rhino during their stall on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Mum Cara said Arabella came up with idea after learning about the Javan Rhino at school.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe said she wanted to sell cookies out the front to raise some money to help,\u201d Cara said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHer and sister baked all Saturday morning and then sat out the front and sold their goods. \u201cThey decided they wanted to do it again this week and baked even more goods.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cara said Arabella also made bookmarks with facts about the Javan Rhino so people could learn more, as people in the first week said they hadn’t heard of them before.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey sold everything and raised a huge $390.75!\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cSuch a wonderful community to support her. \u201cThey are so excited.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cara said all money would be donated to save the Javan Rhino and her class at school were looking into which fund would best contribute to helping the endangered species.<\/p>\n
