Photo: NEVILLE RICHARDS WRECK2REEF\/FACEBOOK<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We experienced a lot of registrations in the last two to three days before the event.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We had a beautiful day once the weather forecast settled in.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Competitors had the choice of completing the 2.5km swim, 300m dash, 800m novice, 1.2km swim or the 600m Salty Bitches Social Swim.<\/p>\n<p>Matt Smith took out the 2.5km swim in a time of 31.45 and the 1.2km event in 15.53, Hoi Wan Henry Lo was first in the 300m dash, Charles Wild won the 800m novice event in 13.05, and Addie Currie was first in the 600m Salty Bitches Social Swim.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/02\/476488744_1828295026_04374.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"518\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Participants had the choice of completing five different distances, including a 600m social swim.
