Abbie Chatfield to make Bendigo debut
TICKETS have been selling like hotcakes for podcaster and TV personality Abbie Chatfield’s upcoming Trauma Dump Tour stopover at Ulumbarra Theatre.
With around 450,000 followers on Instagram and TikTok alone, the 2019 Bachelor Australia runner up promises to bring her “raw and unfiltered self” to Bendigo on the evening of Saturday 9 November.
Ms Chatfield said she can’t wait to visit town.
“I haven’t been to country Victoria and I’ve heard Bendigo is beautiful and has great antique stores, so don’t be shocked if you see me at the airport with an extra suitcase full of vintage finds,” she said.
She described her upcoming show as a “comedic story” about three of her “most horrific dating stories”, along with “a silly PowerPoint (presentation) to help the audience follow along the twist and turns”.
“It’s like coming to have wine at my house and catching up on all that’s been happening in my life,” she said.
“There are some really deep moments, but the tone is comedic and fun.”
“I’m sure anyone who has dated in the last 20 years can relate to how hard it is to find someone normal to date, and anyone else can laugh at the tragedy of the scene!”
“Even if you don’t know me, the show stands alone and it will be a fun night out for anyone who wants to come.”
Abbie Chatfield’s Trauma Dump Tour hits Bendigo on Saturday 9 November at Ulumbarra Theatre.
Limited seats are available via the Gotix website.
