Big-time surprise acts LIVE this weekend
MYSTERY surrounds tomorrow’s ALWAYS LIVE Victorian Vibes mini festival happening in the centre of Bendigo, with exact details including the rundown of performers to be revealed to registered attendees via email sometime today.
While available information remains purposely vague, recent equivalent concerts in Lorne and Traralgon featured indie rock veterans Augie March, Triple J favourites Middle Kids, ARIA Award winners Boy & Bear and Unearthed High winner JACOTÉNE.
Put two and two together and you can reasonably expect at least a couple of internationally or nationally renowned artists, plus local emerging talent, to literally pop up at some stage, somewhere around the CBD, in less than 24 hours’ time.
ALWAYS LIVE CEO Psyche Payne said every stop in the series so far, including Traralgon, has had its own unique personality and appeal.

“The audiences bring the energy, the artists bring the goods, and Traralgon was the perfect host for another joyful day of exploration and excitement,” she said.
Premier Jacinta Allan said the event will give interstate and international audiences another reason to discover places like Bendigo for themselves.
“After seeing visitors travel from all over Australia for shows in Traralgon, Lorne and Ballarat – we’re looking forward to an event in our own backyard, which will be a big boost for local businesses,” she said.
While the gig is free, you cannot just rock up – registrations are compulsory in order to attend, which will also make available ALWAYS LIVE offers and discounts at local businesses.
