AN intensive workshop designed to help business owners clarify their brand, build a bold identity, and execute it fearlessly will take place at the Schaller Hotel in Lucan Street on 31 October.

Led by the Fearless Designer, locally based Morgan Macdonald, the workshop will help attendees define their true brand identity through authenticity and storytelling, design a bold visual presence, embrace risk and disruption to help make their brand stand out, and understand how to build a consistent brand.

Ms Macdonald, a graphic designer of 20 years who recently relaunched her agency – the Fearless Designer Group – after placing it on pause during COVID, described a great brand as one that has its own distinct personality.

“I really love a brand that has some personality or some authenticity to it – something a little bit different that stands out,” she said.

“A great brand has a different look to it or a different feel, or it has a different way of messaging to its audience.”

She said the workshop will be limited to ten people because of the hands-on nature of it, and so outcomes can be tailored to attendees.

“I like to answer a lot of questions too – it’s not just me rolling out generic information,” she said.

The How to Design a Fearless Brand Workshop takes place at the Mercure Bendigo Schaller Hotel in Lucan Street on Thursday 31 October from 10am to 1.30pm.

Tickets to the event are available via the Eventbrite website.
