Get ready to rock to Aussie music classics at All Seasons

THE Sons of Aussie Rock are returning to All Seasons Resort Hotel to perform renditions of some of Australia’s iconic rock hits.

The performance includes music from INXS, AC/DC, Cold Chisel, Midnight Oil, Australian Crawl, Little River Band, and a special tribute to John Farnham.

The five-piece band is fronted by brothers Sam and Chris Jacobs, and Sam said the pair fell in love with rock music as children.

“The two of us grew up in a really musical household and Dad had a really extensive vinyl collection that was predominantly Australian rock music,” he said.

“It just had an impact on us and became our favourite type of rock music.”

Hailing from Central Victoria, Sam said it was important to celebrate local musicians.

“It’s really important that our domestic music scene is still supported.

“People within the industry, not just musicians but production people and hospitality venues… they can all still have a micro industry to participate in.”

Sam said the band always enjoyed playing at the All Seasons Resort Hotel and that it was good to see the return of live music following the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Particularly during the pandemic there were lockdowns, so I think people are really enjoying live music again but I think it’s taken the past 12 months for it to be in the forefront of people’s lives again,” he said.

“I think people are also nostalgic about these types of bands because there aren’t as many around.”
