FORMER primary school teachers Sarah and Manny Kechayas are bringing their fifty-minute live show, Pevan & Sarah, to Bendigo as part of their twenty-seven-date, fourth annual national tour.

Suited to early primary and preschool students, the show features their iconic characters Pevan the tiger and his sidekick Sarah, blending laughter and learning in an interactive, action-packed performance that’s as entertaining as it is educational.

The production is designed to support educators by combining curriculum-aligned literacy and numeracy concepts with social-emotional skills like teamwork, confidence and resilience.

“We started Pevan & Sarah when we were teaching because we understood the impact that music can have on a child’s education,” Sarah Kechayas said.

“We know how stretched teachers are and our goal has always been to support them – whether that’s through our online videos, songs and resources or by bringing kids together for a live, unforgettable learning experience.”

This year’s tour has a strong focus on regional towns as for many communities, Pevan & Sarah’s visit is one of the rare opportunities for children to experience a high-quality, curriculum-linked live performance close to home.

Pevan & Sarah Live on Stage takes place at Ulumbarra Theatre on Monday 10 November.

Tickets are available on the Bendigo Venues & Events website.

See Pevan & Sarah’s safe, ad-free music and video web platform Cub Club, which is enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of children and educators across Australia, earning them millions of views online, on the Cub Club website.
