BUXTON Bendigo has announced the expansion of its property management division after the transition of a long-established rental portfolio from Professionals Bendigo.

The transition was initiated by the retiring director of Professionals Bendigo, who, after a successful career in real estate, sought another local agency to continue providing service to the landlords and tenants held in the portfolio.

As part of the transition, several experienced property professionals from the former agency will join the Buxton Bendigo team, whose knowledge of the local market and long-standing client relationships have been billed as “invaluable assets.”

The agency will also assume responsibility for several active and upcoming sales listings from Professionals Bendigo.

Buxton Bendigo Principal Matt Leonard said the expansion is a natural step in their growth.

“We’re honoured to have been trusted with this transition and look forward to welcoming new clients and team members into the Buxton family,” he said.

“Our focus remains on delivering exceptional service with integrity and local insight.”

For landlords and tenants, the transition is expected to be seamless, with no action required and all existing agreements remaining unchanged.

Clients will be contacted directly and supported by a mix of familiar and new faces within the Buxton Bendigo office.

Established in 1861, the Buxton Real Estate Group is believed to be one of Australia’s oldest real estate agencies.

Buxton Bendigo became its 32nd location when it opened in March last year, with Mr Leonard joined by fellow directors Peter Ladd and Hugh Norris.
