TWO established Bendigo real estate agencies – DCK Real Estate and Bendigo Real Estate – have announced that they’ll merge in the latter part of this year, with the transition to progress over several stages during the coming months.

The merger has been billed in a joint statement from both companies as “a business decision that will allow two trusted names to come together and shape the future of local real estate in our area.”

In September, the Bendigo Real Estate team will join DCK’s existing headquarters in King Street in a new shared office, although both teams will continue to operate under their current brands until October.

Bendigo Real Estate director Nekti Tzouroutis, who was born and raised in Bendigo and has more than 20 years of experience in the local market, said the merger marks the next chapter for real estate in Bendigo.

“Local, independent and built on shared values – we’re committed to continuing our growth while keeping people and relationships at the heart of what we do,” he said.

DCK director Makayla Metcalf began her career at the agency in 2003.

“Joining forces with Bendigo Real Estate allows us to preserve what we’ve built while being part of something even bigger,” Ms Metcalf said.

“It’s an exciting opportunity to enhance our service, expand our capabilities and contribute to a fresh, unified direction.

“For our clientele, this change will mean continued consistency, stronger service and broader reach, as well as an evolved brand that showcases our combined strength, market knowledge and shared values.

“(We’re) excited about what we can achieve together and can’t wait to share our new brand in the months ahead.”
