Secrets of the skin unveiled at gallery

BENDIGO Art Gallery will be the backdrop of an evening of skincare tips and education hosted by local dermal clinician and the owner of Aesthetics by Jacquelyn skincare clinic, Jacquelyn Mortimer.

The night will feature the latest skin secrets from industry experts, a question and answer session, exclusive offers, nibbles and drinks.

Ms Mortimer said while many similar events push sales, Skin Secrets & Sips will take a more educative approach.

“This is about empowering people with the right knowledge to make informed decisions about their skin health,” she said.

“I’ll explain the importance of using active ingredients, and why certain products are worth their price.

“This isn’t about promoting my products over others; it’s about helping people understand what works for their skin at different ages.

“Our skin changes with time, and we need to adapt our approach to skincare accordingly.”

Ms Mortimer added that the discussion will cover not only the face, but skin across the whole body.

“It’s our largest organ, and caring for it properly can help with aging and even wound management later in life,” she said.

“I really want this event to be interactive with plenty of opportunities for questions, so that people can walk away with a much better understanding of their skin and how to care for it.”
