A day of mystique and magic
GET ready for a full day of mystery at the first Bendigo Psychic and Paranormal Expo.
Paranormal Adventures Australia is bringing together tarot reader, healers, psychics and paranormal investigators from across the state together at the Shamrock Hotel on Saturday, 26 June.
Owner and director of Paranormal Adventures Australia Soula Raven Vaitsis also runs the national expo and said they’d been a big push to move it regionally.
“We’ve had a lot of people from regional areas say can you do it somewhere else because it’s a bit hard to travel two hours, four hours for it because we do it mainly in Melbourne,” she said.
“What we really want to do is bring people in the field, physic mediums, paranormal investigators that sort of thing within that area to come together.
“Not everybody knows each other, they could be exceptionally recommended but not many people know them.”
Paranormal Adventures Australia also host ghost tours on the fourth floor of the Shamrock Hotel, which remains untouched since the goldmining period.
“Shamrock Hotel is an iconic hotel,” Ms Vaitsis said. “It is a haunted location.
“Upstairs has not been touched at all, it remains as it was and you had criminals living there, famous people living there, the original owners living there.
“History dating back 200 years almost and the spirits still linger there.”
Ms Vaitsis said the expo is a unique opportunity to unite paranormal believers and there is something for everyone.
“The big thing is that people around that area and areas where people come from didn’t know they could get the help that they were looking for, whether it’s healing, something paranormal in their home, they wanted to connect with a Pagan group, it really helps everybody,” she said.
