NOMINATIONS are open for businesses that have delivered outstanding service over the past twelve months.

The Be.Bendigo Business Excellence Awards have run for 28 years and give the region’s enterprises an opportunity to reflect on current practices and achievements and receive recognition for their contribution to Greater Bendigo.

CEO of Be.Bendigo Dennis Bice said he is impressed by the number of businesses that have been able to adapt, and in some cases change their mode of delivery, during the pandemic.

“We encourage anyone to jump on board and nominate because it is a recognition for the performance of businesses over the past 12 months,” he said.

In 2019 the awards attracted 600 guests to its gala dinner event at the All Seasons Resort Hotel and Be.Bendigo is expecting a similar crowd after last year’s event was cancelled.

There are 15 categories for nominations including the Business of the Year Award, the Diverse and Inclusive Workplace Award and the Emerging and Energised Award.

Nominations close on Sunday, 16 May at 5pm, and successful nominees have until Sunday, 13 June to apply.

This year’s gala dinner will take place at usual spot, All Seasons Resort Hotel, on Friday, 6 August.
