Bendigo TAFE a Training Awards finalist

School-based apprentice Zac Dudderidge, who is undertaking a Certificate III in Engineering, has been nominated for School-based Apprentice of the Year, while community and justice teacher Tarmi A’Vard has been named a finalist in the Teacher/Trainer of the Year category.
Mr Dudderidge’s hands-on approach and commitment to his trade have seen him emerge as a shining example of vocational pathways, while Ms A’Vard is known for her student-first mindset and deep industry knowledge, inspiring learners and strengthening community outcomes.
Rounding out the nominations is Bendigo TAFE’s recognition as a Large Training Provider of the Year finalist, the category it won in 2022.
Outgoing Bendigo Kangan Institute CEO Sally Curtain said the nominations reflect the dedication, passion and excellence in vocational education and skills Bendigo TAFE delivers across the region every day.
