MORE than two thousand secondary students, school leavers and job seekers will descend upon the Fosterville Gold Exhibition Centre at the Bendigo Showgrounds next Thursday for the Tomorrow Bound Careers Expo.

Sponsored by Bendigo TAFE, the annual expo brings together training organisations, tertiary providers, local employers and various employment services to offer practical support and insight for anyone planning their next career move.

With more than 60 exhibitors expected, attendees can meet representatives from Bendigo TAFE, universities and training organisations to learn more about training pathways and options.

They can also connect directly with local employers, job agencies and support service providers who will be on hand to offer expert career guidance.

Additionally, this year’s program includes live demonstrations and hands-on interactive experiences that will give attendees a taste of real-world work across a variety of in-demand sectors.

“Tomorrow Bound is Bendigo’s ultimate careers expo – designed for job seekers and young people who are thinking about what’s next after school,” Bendigo TAFE CEO Sally Curtain said.

“It’s a chance to meet local employers, chat with training and education providers, and discover how your interests and strengths can lead to real jobs in growing industries – all right here in Bendigo.

“So grab your mates and come along – Tomorrow Bound is all about helping you feel informed, confident and ready for whatever comes next.”

The Tomorrow Bound Careers Expo takes place next Thursday, 22 May, from 9.30am to 3pm at the Fosterville Gold Exhibition Centre in North Bendigo.

Admission is free.
