DREAMY music of Fleetwood Mac will be brought to life at the Capital Theatre in November.

The Australian Fleetwood Mac Show – Running in the Shadows, put together by Gary Stewart and the band’s own Stevie Nicks, Ursula Cain, has toured Australia for 22 years.

“Both Ursula and myself were born in Christchurch, New Zealand,” Stewart said.

“We began performing together in New Zealand, then spent two years in the UK performing every weekend.

“We started this show and never looked back. Audience members who have seen the show in the past have found it hard to believe they were not experiencing the real deal on stage.”

Stewart said Running in the Shadows will deliver all the chart-toppers from Fleetwood Mac’s catalogue, with the passion and energy they deserve.

“From the early hits from the music of Peter Green, through to the Rumours album era, spanning up to Tango in the Night and even some of Stevie Nicks solo material, there is something for every Fleetwood Mac fan to enjoy.

“We will get the audience involved in what will be a magic night. My favourite song to play is Go Your Own Way, and I love the Stevie Nicks song Silver Springs.

“Ursula’s favourite song is a Stevie Nicks song, Beautiful Child from the Tusk album. Being able to play the timeless music of Fleetwood Mac is an absolute privilege.

“The two-plus hours we perform will have you singing along with us. We can’t wait.”

Running in the Shadows will be performed at the Capital Theatre on Saturday, 19 November. Visit bit.ly/3Tp31cn for tickets.
