A SERIES of free workshops designed to educate people about what is available regarding rebates available under the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program are due to take place early next month.
The topic will be of particular relevance to Solstice Energy customers in Marong and other areas who are expecting to have their compressed natural gas services cut off sometime later this year.
The VEU program offers discounts on energy-efficient products for homes and businesses, but confusion reigns for many potential uptakers around eligibility, how much they could save and the value of the upfront payments they would have to outlay.
Organised by local outfit Evergreen Energy Savers, the workshops will clarify these points plus provide an array of additional handy information.
Evergreen Energy founder John Crooks promised the information sessions will be “transparent, informative, educational, enlightening, entertaining and non-manipulative”.
“Come along and find out what your options are in a pleasant surrounding without any pressure,” he said.
“You’ll be brought up to speed (and following that) you can go off and do your own due diligence, knowing what you need to know – then you can take appropriate action if you wish. It’s really as simple as that.”
The dates and locations of the workshops as well as extra information will be posted on evergreenenergysavers.au in the coming weeks. You can also contact Mr Crooks, who is available by appointment at 21 View Point six days a week, via 0418 356 256 or [email protected]
