Go for gold at Heathcote Wine and Food Festival

THE Heathcote Wine and Food Festival returns for its sixteenth year, showcasing the best of the region’s award-winning wine.
More than 2500 enthusiastic repeat attendees and first-time visitors are expected to descend on the Heathcote Showgrounds as event organisers transform it into a family-friendly gourmet village.
The Festival is a chance for attendees to be among the first to sample new release wines from more than 35 of Heathcote’s best wine producers.

For the ultimate Festival experience, patrons are encouraged to ‘go for gold’ with the Golden Ticket which includes access to the Golden Ticket Lounge an area with priority, shaded seating, a gourmet lunch box from Bendigo’s Ms Batterhams and a bar selling gold-medal wines.
This vibrant event is all set to the background sounds of the live music stage presented by Bendigo Blues and Roots and including performances by Dan Duggan & Friends, Luke Harrington & The Hoodoo Heathens and The F Jays (Saturday) and Mariah McCarthy, Liz Frencham & Robbie Melville and Alawishus Jones & The Outright Lies (Sunday).

Shuttle buses will run from Bendigo Railway Station and Melbourne’s Southern Cross Station on both Saturday and Sunday and can be booked online.
