Groovy: date set for music fest

GROOVIN the Moo is back for 2023 with the date for the music festival at Prince of Wales Showgrounds confirmed.

Saturday, 29 April will see the as yet announced line up take to the stage at the 13th iteration of the concert series in Bendigo, with tickets expected to sell quickly.

Unlike a lot of the larger music festivals across the county GTM is an all-ages event, however, those under 16 who wish to attend are encouraged to bring a parent or guardian along with them.

The official line-up is due to drop on Wednesday, 1 February, with Triple J announcing the line-up live on air at 8am.

There is likely to be no shortage of big names however with the likes of Hilltop Hoods, Peking Duck, The Veronicas, The Kooks and The Wombats taking to the stage in past years.

Locals also get a run on the bill as well, with 2022 event featuring Jem Pryse and DJ Tonky keeping the crowds entertained.

Tickets will go on sale at midday on Tuesday, 7 February and will be available through Moshtix the events official ticketing outlet.

The 2023 edition of Groovin the Moo has also seen extra stops added to the tour, taking it nationwide.

In addition to Bendigo, Canberra, Maitland in New South Wales, Wayville in South Australia, the Sunshine Coast, and Bunbury will also host stops of the music festival this year.
