Centre director Bridie Lyle attributes Strathfieldsaye’s success to its unique offerings and community-focused approach.

“Our goal is to ensure families are happy and to share that happiness with others,” Ms Lyle said. “We’re proud to offer extra-curricular activities that foster creativity, communication, and a strong sense of belonging for our children and their families.”

Low staff turnover is another key factor behind the centre’s success. With a stable team of long-standing educators, Strathfieldsaye provides a nurturing and consistent environment that builds trust and connection with families.

“We also close over Christmas to allow our team to recharge and spend quality time with their loved ones. This supports staff wellbeing and ensures they return refreshed to provide the highest standard of care,” Ms Lyle explained.

Jenny’s Kindergarten in Epsom, which earned the region’s second-highest ranking, offers a similarly diverse range of activities, including community walks, AUSLAN education, Kelly Sports, and musical book programs.
