A HEAP of local acts have been added to this year’s Groovin the Moo Bendigo stop, led by Triple J unearthed winner Nayyethwey who will be bringing his pop, R’n’B, and hip-hop flavours to the stage.

Other regional artists to get the call-up include Ashwarya, Forest Claudette, Run Wylda, Lashes, Mason Flint, Alice Payne, Deus Sax, Kuma the Third, Tonky, and Coach Frank.

The performers were announced on Tuesday as part of the GTM Fresh Produce program which sees local acts chosen to perform the GTM stages.

Past Fresh Produce artists like Alex Lahey, Hockey Dad, Lime Cordiale and Ocean Alley have gone on to be well-known names around the country.

Other notable changes to the line-up have also been announced in recent weeks with previously planned acts Omar Apollo and Skepta cancelling their Australian tours.

Omar and Skepta have been replaced in the line-up by Australian rap and soul artist Genesis Owusu and English rock outfit Nothing but Thieves.

The additions join a line-up that includes international standouts Fatboy Slim, Alt-J and Denzel Curry as well as homegrown heroes Confidence Man, Amy Shark, Ball Park Music, and The Chats.

The action will all take place at the Prince of Wales Showground on Saturday, 29 April and will be the 13th GTM held in Bendigo.

The fourth release of general admission tickets is on sale now, with the first three allocations selling out quickly.

Head to moshtix.com.au for tickets and more info on the event is available at gtm.net.au.
