Marketplace among new exposure sites

SEVERAL Bendigo exposure sites have been listed on the state’s Department of Health and Human Services website.

All tier two sites, they include Bendigo Marketplace on Thursday, 16 September between 11.25am and 12.15pm and on Friday, 17 September between 10.41am and 12.35pm.

Specific stores listed include ZiNG Pop Culture at Bendigo Marketplace on Thursday, 16 September between 11.28am and 12.05pm and on Friday, 17 September between 11.03am and 11.39am.

Big W and EB Games at Bendigo Marketplace are listed as exposure sites on Friday, 17 September between 10.48am and 11.33am and 11.09am and 11.45 am, respectively.

Toppers Café is listed on Friday, 17 September between 11.34am and 12:10pm and Donut King – Bendigo Marketplace also on Friday between 11.55am and 12.35pm.

JB HiFi on Hargreaves Street is also listed as a tier two exposure site on Thursday, 16 September between 11.08am and 11.45am and Friday, 17 September between 11.22am and 12.01pm.

Anyone who has visited the sites must get tested and isolate until a negative result is sent.

Bendigo Health will be operating drive through COVID-19 testing at the Showgrounds tomorrow between 10am and 5.30pm.

The McLaren Street testing site will be open for walk ins only. Children under the age of five must go to the McLaren St site for testing.

Out of the 507 COVID-19 cases listed today, seven were recorded in neighbouring local government Area, Mitchell Shire.
