THIS Saturday, Z Fit Studios is encouraging people to get out of their comfort zones and try something new for their physical and mental health.

The company is holding an open day across their four locations, with free classes available to the public.

Executive director Saari Frochot-Chauhan said there was something for everyone to enjoy at their studios in central Bendigo and Golden Square.

“All four of our studios will be open and running on Saturday so that will be a variety of classes for both kids and adults. It will encompass dance classes, aerial circus classes, pole and fitness,” she said.

“Come, have fun, enjoy, try something that you might never have tried before. You might be a little bit scared to try it but just give it a go and you’ll probably find that it’s not actually scary at all, it’s a really nice inclusive environment to come and have fun.”

CEO Dave Chauhan said the open day was about getting people reinspired after COVID-19 lockdowns and, of course, having some much-needed fun.

“Our idea was to run a community event that we can have people come out to and just enjoy and give it a go for the sake of fun,” he said.

“We’re reigniting a weakened link, the passion or general excitement that people have for the performing arts industry.”
