WOOLWORTHS has relaunched its Epsom Village store with an expanded range of fresh food choices and new facilities – along with new jobs – to support the growing popularity of online shopping.
The supermarket has undergone a multi-million-dollar overhaul over the past five months, which has involved upgrading the store layout and installing new fixtures and other facilities to give the outlet a fresh new look.
The bakery and deli departments have received an extensive upgrade and the range of Australian fresh fruit and vegetables has been expanded.
Electronic ticketing throughout the store and new self-scanning checkouts have been added to help customers pay for their groceries faster.
Shoppers will find 100 per cent Australian beef in newly installed energy efficient refrigerators and an array of fresh local seafood in the fish market.

They will now also see a range of local products and suppliers on the shelves like Castlemaine Dips, Kyvalley Milk and Keans eggs.
“We’re incredibly excited to deliver a contemporary fresh food offering for the Epsom community, including a more extensive range of groceries to choose from across all departments in the store,” store manager Samantha Dark said.
“We’d like to thank our customers as we have gone through the store redevelopment over the last few months, as well as facade works to the shopping centre.
“We’ve got a number of options to help locals choose how and when they want to shop, in a way that is most convenient with their busy schedules.”
The overhaul has also been a positive for local jobs, with more than 10 new team members employed at the supermarket joining more than 150 workers already at the outlet.
The Epsom supermarket is open from 7am to 10pm seven days a week.
