A NEW paint and sip experience is coming to Bendigo.

Pinot and Picasso currently has 54 studios across Australia and has recently expanded internationally.

Franchisee of Pinot and Picasso in Bendigo, Rebecca Auld, said she is excited for locals to try their hand at the fun social activity.

“It’s quite a unique experience,” she said. “It’s something you can do with friends or even if you’re a former artist, you can go be a part of these wonderful experiences.

“It’s fun, it’s exciting, it’s collaborative, you don’t need to be an artist and at the end of the session you have this piece of artwork.”

The sessions involve participants painting with step-by-step instructions from an expert with a glass of BYO wine and an emphasis on having fun.

Ms Auld said they currently have four private sessions booked and are looking for more creative hosts to join their team.

“We’re seeking some creative artists, hosts that are local to Bendigo that can help run our sessions,” she said.

“They just need to be creative, obviously if they come with some sort of qualification or experience that’s even better… it’s all about the people experience, so working with people and being able to give that fun time to others.”

Pinot and Picasso Bendigo is also putting a call out for local businesses and community groups looking for a different kind of team function.

“We’ve got public and private sessions that we run, we do pop-ups, events, we can hold corporate team building events. There’s a number of things we can do not just in studio but outside the studio,” Ms Auld said.

Pinot and Picasso will hold a grand opening in mid-august. Anyone interested in participating or hosting should contact [email protected].
