Pedestrian killed in Bendigo truck crash

A PEDESTRIAN has died after a truck collided with them on High Street, Bendigo.

The crash occurred just after 8.30am and a passerby commenced CPR.

The yet-to-be-formally-identified pedestrian died at the scene.

The truck driver was not injured and is assisting police with their investigation.

The circumstances of the collision are yet to be determined.

Police have requested residents seek alternative transport routes while emergency services are still at the scene.
