Social media for success
AS part of a new series of tailored workshops by Be.Bendigo, businesses are being asked on the different ways they engage with social media.
CEO of the organisation Dennis Bice said it’s important businesses are aware of the opportunities the platforms present.
“A number of businesses have been looking for training in various different social media platforms,” he said.
“One of the things we wanted to do was be able to provide that training to them to help improve their business outputs and the profile and engagement with their customer base.
“We wanted to make sure we were providing that opportunity to make sure they can maximise their business potential, improve their skills and hopefully have a really good outcome at the end of it.”
The social media workshops will take place during three different one-and-a-half hour sessions over three consecutive weeks, and Mr Bice said they will be “specific, fruitful and worthwhile.”
“This one we’ve been more specific around asking the level of interest as to what platforms they’re actually using, and that targeted approach we think is probably a better outcome,” he said.
The workshops will focus on specific platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, which have become even more important since the start of COVID-19.
