HIGH STREET drivers in Kangaroo Flat can now gawk at a new digital billboard marking a milestone for regional outdoor advertising.

The billboard is the 100th to be placed on a regional road by advertiser Gawk Outdoor and currently features an ad from Australian telco Swoop.

Founded in 2018, Gawk Outdoor now oversees 40 per cent of the regional Victorian outdoor advertising market.

Co-founder of Gawk Outdoor, Luke Course, said reaching this goal within five years was a fantastic achievement for the company.

“Swoop has been a big supporter of ours over the years so it is fitting to have them on our milestone site.

“We are looking forward to what the future holds with our fantastic clients, landlords and partners in Regional Victoria all of which are a privilege to work with,” Mr Course said.

Head of Sales and Marketing for Swoop, David Michaels, said their partnership with Gawk Outdoor had helped them reach regional audiences.

“Swoop and Gawk align over the shared focus to service regional Australia and our partnership has been a great example of local companies joining forces, supporting one another to benefit both businesses,” he said.

The billboard could reach 150,000 commuters each week and is located at 148 High Street in Kangaroo Flat.
