ONE of Bendigo’s most loved Easter traditions will return, bigger and better, at the 2026 Bendigo Easter Festival.
Families are invited to join Vision Australia’s Easter Egg Hunt at Rosalind Park on Good Friday.
“More than 100,000 chocolate eggs will be hidden for over 4500 children to discover across 24 hunts throughout the day,” said Liz Bayrak, Vision Australia community fundraising coordinator.
“Designed to be inclusive and welcoming for all, this year’s event will feature accessible sensory and mobility-friendly hunts, created specifically for children who benefit from additional sensory, mobility or physical support.
“Adding to the excitement, Vision Australia’s Seeing Eye Dogs team will be on site, giving families the opportunity to meet the puppies and learn more about their life-changing work.

“All funds raised will support Vision Australia’s services in the Bendigo region, helping people who are blind or have low vision to live the life they choose.”
The hunts will take place at varying times throughout Good Friday between 9am and 5pm. Priced at $18, tickets are expected to sell quickly. Visit bendigoregion.com.au for tickets.
