ANTIQUE dealers from Tasmania, New South Wales, South Australia, and Victoria are set to converge on Truscott Stadium in California Gully over the Easter weekend for the enduringly popular Bendigo Antique Fair.

Attendees will have the opportunity to pore over hundreds of collectable items including furniture, jewellery, ceramics, artwork, glassware, sterling silver and bric-a-brac.

Organiser Louise Russell said after the last couple of years of living with the pandemic, it’s “wonderful” to have the opportunity once again to open up the world of antiques to the public.

“To be running the Bendigo Easter Antique Fair this year is so exciting,” she said.

“There have been previous event owners and also a couple of different venues. We are hoping to bring stability back to the fair and feel that the current location is a great venue.

“It’s a great opportunity for the public to spend time browsing, shopping and surrounding themselves in gorgeous pieces from another era.

“There are 25 quality antique dealers who will be exhibiting a huge selection of antique, vintage and retro items.

“Wonderful furniture, glassware, sterling silver and China dating back to the 1800s. Beautiful antique and bespoke jewellery, masterpiece and contemporary artwork, militaria, garagenalia, and always a unique piece for the man cave.”

The Fair is an indoor event with free parking, wheelchair access, EFTPOS facilities and a cafe available.

The Bendigo Easter Antique Fair goes between Saturday, 16 and Monday, 18 April, from 10am each day, at Truscott Stadium in California Gully.
