September 23, 2023 BY

Home builder Metricon has received a gong for it’s Gisborne-based Highlander 66 display home.

THE Housing Industry Association has awarded Metricon’s Highlander 66 display home located at Gisborne the ‘Best Display Home over $1 million’ at the 2023 HIA Western Victoria Regional Housing Awards last Friday.

The double storey, five-bedroom home, fronted by an Pindari façade seeks to showcase modern country grandeur.

The Highlander’s high ceilings, large proportions, and high-quality fixtures and finishes garnered well-deserved praise from the competition’s judges.

Set against the picturesque Macedon Ranges, the Highlander stands as the flagship double-storey design in Metricon’s Acreage Collection.

The build seeks to harmonises pastoral charm with refined aesthetics, and create a home with warmth, comfort, and character.

“We are incredibly proud of the Highlander,” said Phil Barrett, Metricon’s general manager of regional housing Victoria.

“It really is an absolute showstopping country luxe home, it showcases contemporary acreage living with just the right amount of opulence and grandeur.

“This award win is a celebration of our great local trades and supplier’s dedication to delivering the best home-building process to our customers.

“The Highlander is a break-through and now award-winning country home set on acreage that has set new standards for volume building design.”
