Real estate heavyweight joins McKean McGregor
IN significant news for the Bendigo real estate industry, the team at McKean McGregor is extremely excited to announce that well known and respected real estate identity Robert Ketterer is joining the agency.
McKean McGregor CEO Todd Brown said it was a genuine pleasure to welcome Mr Ketterer to the team.
“We are delighted to be able to secure the depth of expertise and integrity Robert brings from his distinguished career in real estate to complement our business and plans for the future,” Mr Brown said.
“We are extremely fortunate to have such a well-respected person coming to share his knowledge, experience and connections with our team. Robert will be a huge asset for our business.
“We are excited to have Robert help guide our continued development across all divisions including Residential Sales, Commercial, Property Management, Projects and Marketing”.
Mr Ketterer comes to McKean McGregor with 43 years of experience in all areas of real estate, and with a strong network of contacts, both locally and throughout Victoria he’s ready to head back into the office.
“Real Estate is a passion, and after a three-year break I’m feeling refreshed and keen to continue that passion, particularly in the area of business management and development,” Mr Ketterer said.
“After purchasing my first property at the age of 18, my interest in real estate has never faltered.
“I feel energised by this opportunity to step into the McKean McGregor business, a team of high calibre people with a progressive focus on their clients, who are building their reputation”.
In 2020, after 24 years at the helm of another local real estate agency, the sale of that business allowed Mr Ketterer time to complete some passion projects in real estate, in between traveling with wife Nikki.
Mr Ketterer also continues his 34-year commitment to Villawood Properties as a founding director, serves on several committees and boards and still finds time to enjoy ‘pop’ duties with grandson Charlie.
“I see that the Bendigo market will remain strong, but will have its challenges. The liveability, location and affordability of Bendigo are being challenged by the current economy and world events,” he said.
“But I see that the lack of supply of property in our area will mean property prices will remain stable at worst.
