THE All Blacks trashed the Wallabies 57-22 at Eden Park on Saturday night to seal their nineteenth straight Bledisloe Cup triumph.

New Zealand recorded their highest ever score against Australia to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-game series.

Leading 21-15 at half-time, Ian Foster’s men crushed their trans-Tasman rivals in the second half to run out 35-point victors in Auckland.

It extended the All Blacks’ incredible unbeaten streak at Eden Park – they haven’t lost at the venue since 1994.

Wallabies coach Dave Rennie lamented his side’s mistakes with and without the ball that were ruthlessly punished by the hosts.

“We were well beaten and well beaten because we didn’t treasure the ball enough,” Rennie said post-game.

“I thought we defended really well in the first half and were physical, but we made some really poor decisions defensively if we turned the ball over or kicked poorly.

“We got exposed down the short side and threw a couple of intercepts when there was clear space behind to put the pressure on them.

“It’s disappointing.”

The third and final Bledisloe Cup match takes place at Optus Stadium in Perth on Saturday, August 28.
