BFNL announces 17-and-under netball rep squad

THE Bendigo Football Netball League (BFNL) has unveiled a 14-player squad to represent the league at 17-and-under level this season.
The team will be led by co-coaches Sharni McPherson and Nikki Donnollen, who bring a wealth of experience and a strong focus on development, teamwork, and high-performance standards.
It comprises players from four of the league’s nine clubs, with Golden Square and Strathfieldsaye the best represented with five players each.
Kangaroo Flat and Sandhurst each has two players in the squad.
The squad was chosen after a lengthy and competitive selection process and reflects the strength and depth of netball talent within the BFNL, with players earning their place through strong performances, and potential at both club and representative level.
The squad will take part in a structured program, including training sessions, local tournaments, region Association Championships and interleague against the strong Ovens and Murray league under the guidance of McPherson and Donnellon.
BFNL manager Tom King congratulated all selected players and wished the team and coaching staff the very best for the upcoming representative season.
