Bloods strong on home court

SOUTH Bendigo and reigned supreme at home after downing Kyneton in Bendigo Netball League A Grade action.
The Bloods’ 50-44 win over the Tigers has cemented their top four place on the ladder, elevating them a place above Castlemaine on a slim five percentage points.
Both those sides will meet in round 14 at Camp Reserve in a critical game ahead of the run into finals.

That’s despite the Magpies 46-59 road win over Strathfieldsaye.
At Downer Park the top of the table clash between Kangaroo Flat and Sandhurst, with the Roos securing a 66-49 win and leapfrogging the Dragons for the lead in the comp.
Eaglehawk came away from Golden Square with a big 28-51 victory, while third placed Gisborne won 59-23 at home to Maryborough.
After 13 round and five games left in the season, the BNL A Grade ladder now stands as Kangaroo Flat, Sandhurst, Gisborne, South Bendigo, Castlemaine, Kyneton, Eaglehawk, Maryborough, Strathfieldsaye and Golden Square.
