IT may be an elimination final preview when Bridgewater meets Inglewood in this Saturday’s twelfth round of senior footy in the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley FNL season.

Fourth in the premiership race, Bridgewater is on home turf to take on Inglewood.

A six and four win-loss tally for the Rick Ladson-coached Bridgewater includes a 33-point defeat on Inglewood’s turf at Dissy Machinery Oval in Inglewood.

In last Saturday’s play, Bridgewater marked a 25-point win on Maiden Gully YCW’s ground.

The Darrell Billett-coached Blues are on the rebound from a 119-point loss to reigning premier Marong.

In-form players for Bridgewater, aka Mean Machine, include Darcy Wood, Charlton Hindle, Jack Symons and Zane Hoiles.

Bridgewater captain Josh Martyn was kept goalless by the Eagles so will be keen to lead the way to an important victory.

The Blues will look for big games from the likes of Thomas Kennedy, Charlie Ingham, Bregon Cotchett, Daniel and Sam Polack, and Charlie McGaw.

Another big match it third against second as Bears-Lagoon Serpentine faces Pyramid Hill at Gadsden Finance Serpentine Reserve.

Both teams marked impressive wins in the 11th round and just three goals separated the Bulldogs and Bears when they met in round three.

On that day it was the Nathan Fitzpatrick-coached Bulldogs who won 119-101 as Dylan Collis, Zach Alford and Bailey George were among the best for the red, white and blue.

Newbridge is back on its turf at Beck Legal Riverside Oval to take on Marong.

The Sam Gale and Daniel Smith-coached Maroons face a daunting task against a ruthless Marong line-up.

In round three, the Linton Jacobs-coached Panthers marked a 202-point victory as they kept Newbridge to a score of 2.1 at Malone Park.

Holder of the league record of 154 goals last season, Marong star Brandyn Grenfell is on 67 after kicking eight against the Blues last Saturday.

Mitiamo and Maiden Gully YCW Eagles meet at Mitiamo’s John Forbes Oval.

The Jon Varcoe-coached Mitiamo will have been freshened up by the bye and keen to perform well after a nine-goal loss at Maiden Gully in round three.

Calivil United has the bye.
