League leaders clash on Marong’s turf
LADDER leaders Marong and Bears-Lagoon Serpentine meet in Saturday’s sixth round of senior footy in the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley FNL.
Unbeaten in its pursuit of back-to-back premierships, Marong is home at Malone Park to take on the Bears.
In last Saturday’s play, Marong won at Calivil by 206 points as it kept the Demons scoreless after quarter-time while the Bears had the bye after a three and one start to the season.
