Pioneers lock in girls squads for ’26

THE Bendigo Pioneers have finalised their under-18 girls and under-16 girls squads for the 2026 Coates Talent League season.

Twenty-two clubs from across the region are featured in the two squads, with Bendigo club Sandhurst the best represented with eight players, with Woorinen and Strathfieldsaye next best with seven and six apiece.

The under-18 squad includes 35 players, while 33 have been picked in the under-16 squad.

The release of the squad comes two months after Bendigo Pioneers product Olivia Lacy was selected by Brisbane with pick 52 in the 2025 AFLW national draft.
