IT will be a case of no licence, no gear, no problem for children aged six to twelve wanting to experience the thrill of go-karting this July school holidays in Bendigo.
Developed by Karting Australia as a safe introduction to the sport, Bendigo Kart Club will host the popular Junior Sprockets program on Tuesday 8 July.
The program provides participants with the opportunity to experience the thrill and excitement of driving an authentic racing kart in a safe and controlled environment.
Everything aspiring karters need to hit the track and have a blast in a safe, fun environment is provided.
Under the expert tuition of seven-time Australian champion Toby Hunt and the instructors from the Topgun Driver Training Academy, participants will progress through a series of activity stations where they will learn the basics of karting.
Following the completion of the two-hour intensive program, each child will be presented with a gift bag containing an array of merchandise, including Get Started in Karting information along with a free 12-month Karting Australia practice licence to assist them with the transition into competitive karting.
The program is considered ideal for kids who have never tried go-karting before.
The cost per driver is $250. Spots are limited.
