The Diggers went down 2-73 to 16-80 in last Saturday’s home game against Marong.
After starting the season with three consecutive defeats, Marong is on a three-game winning streak and has jumped to third place in the premiership race.
Last season’s division one premier, Marong is back at home this Saturday to take on Eaglehawk at 1.30pm.
It’s a crucial clash for the Hawks who start the round in seventh place at +24 shots, 58 points.
The Two Blues scored a 31-shot win at Kangaroo Flat last round.

The Bulldogs marked Friday night’s first home game under lights by ending in a 9-80 draw with Bendigo.
