A RED-HOT Moama will roll into Kangaroo Flat for this Saturday’s seventh round of premier league action in Bendigo Campaspe Goldfields Bowls.

Fourth faces second on Kangaroo Flat’s greens in Station Street from 1.30pm.

The Steamers were in top form last weekend.

On Friday night they scored an eight-shot win at home against Bendigo East to complete the fifth round.

Moama then dominated the next day’s play at home against Inglewood to score an 18-95 to 0-44 victory.

Highs for the Steamers were 20-shot and 23-shot wins by Kevin Anderson and Travis Kelly.

The Kangaroos hopped to a 46-shot win on Bendigo East’s greens last Saturday.

The Roos’ skippers against the Magpies were Greg Podesta, Malcolm McLean, Barry Anset and Brad Marron.

Unbeaten in its pursuit of back-to-back premierships, Bendigo is at home to play Golden Square this round.

The Royals split the rinks, but won their latest hit-out at South Bendigo, 14-80 to 4-67.

Tim Arnold and coach Luke Hoskin marked wins of 10 and 20 shots on the Diggers’ turf.

South Bendigo will aim to mark its fifth victory when it heads to Inglewood this round.

The Diggers cannot afford to relax against a team desperate to end its winless streak.

Best result for Inglewood at Moama was a 17-18 score for Geoff Wilson.

On records of 2-4 and 1-5, Eaglehawk and Bendigo East will be hungry for success on the Borough’s turf in Simpsons Road.

The Hawks won at Golden Square by nine shots last round.
