{"id":101022,"date":"2024-12-12T04:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-12-11T17:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bendigotimes\/?p=101022"},"modified":"2024-12-11T15:39:05","modified_gmt":"2024-12-11T04:39:05","slug":"get-ready-to-rock-to-aussie-music-classics-at-all-seasons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/bendigotimes\/living\/get-ready-to-rock-to-aussie-music-classics-at-all-seasons\/","title":{"rendered":"Get ready to rock to Aussie music classics at All Seasons"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>THE Sons of Aussie Rock are returning to All Seasons Resort Hotel to perform renditions of some of Australia&#8217;s iconic rock hits.<\/p>\n<p>The performance includes music from INXS, AC\/DC, Cold Chisel, Midnight Oil, Australian Crawl, Little River Band, and a special tribute to John Farnham.<\/p>\n<p>The five-piece band is fronted by brothers Sam and Chris Jacobs, and Sam said the pair fell in love with rock music as children.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The two of us grew up in a really musical household and Dad had a really extensive vinyl collection that was predominantly Australian rock music,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It just had an impact on us and became our favourite type of rock music.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Hailing from Central Victoria, Sam said it was important to celebrate local musicians.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s really important that our domestic music scene is still supported.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;People within the industry, not just musicians but production people and hospitality venues\u2026 they can all still have a micro industry to participate in.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sam said the band always enjoyed playing at the All Seasons Resort Hotel and that it was good to see the return of live music following the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Particularly during the pandemic there were lockdowns, so I think people are really enjoying live music again but I think it&#8217;s taken the past 12 months for it to be in the forefront of people&#8217;s lives again,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think people are also nostalgic about these types of bands because there aren&#8217;t as many around.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Sons of Aussie Rock will play tomorrow (Saturday December 14) from 8.30pm.
