ARTISTS are invited to submit an expression of interest for an opportunity to exhibit their work at businesses in the View Street arts precinct from Easter until early August this year.<\/p>\n

The Eat.Drink.Art program is part of a series of city centre public activations planned during the contentious major redevelopment at Bendigo Art Gallery, which is expected to stretch over two years.<\/p>\n

Potential applicants must live, work or study in Greater Bendigo and be able to provide examples of their work and details about concepts they would like to concoct for the exhibition.<\/p>\n

Creative City officer Mandy Field said the initiative continued to be a popular way for artists and businesses to connect since its inception in 2024.<\/p>\n

“Eat.Drink.Art is a fantastic platform to showcase local talent, offering exhibition space and building exposure,” she said.<\/p>\n

“It also helps businesses develop relationships with artists.<\/p>\n

“We’ve already had strong support from View Street businesses for the Eat.Drink.Art art trail in 2026, which will be a great experience for residents and visitors.<\/p>\n

“Selected artists will be paired with participating businesses, a collaboration that has proven highly successful in previous years.”<\/p>\n

Expressions of interest close on Tuesday 27 January with all shortlisted applicants to be notified by Tuesday 3 February and final selections to be decided by Thursday 12 February.<\/p>\n
