WORLD renowned Welsh singer Aled Jones MBE is returning to Australia for his eighth tour during April and early May, bringing what promises to be an intimate new show combining music, storytelling and a touch of nostalgia.<\/p>\n

Over an impressive career spanning more than four decades, the former boy soprano has released 40-plus albums and sold upwards of 10 million records worldwide, achieving more than 40 Silver, Gold and Platinum discs and has performed for the Pope and the Royal Family in venues including Royal Albert Hall and the Sydney Opera House.<\/p>\n

Mr Jones has also built a reputation as an engaging storyteller and the first half of the show will revisit his beginnings in North Wales and encounters with figures including Queen Elizabeth II, King Charles III, Princess Diana, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Leonard Bernstein.<\/p>\n

Then, the second half charts his career journey – from duets with his younger self to television highlights including Songs of Praise, Dancing With The Stars and The Masked Singer. “I’m really excited about this tour,” he enthused.<\/p>\n

“I love Australia so much and have thoroughly enjoyed coming to the beautiful country since 2003.<\/p>\n

“I’m honoured that the Aussies love my music so much and I’m so proud to be one of the best-selling Welsh singers there, it feels like a second home to me.<\/p>\n
