He is yet to be formally identified.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1132\" data-end=\"1273\">The incident has shocked the small community north of Bendigo, with the road a well-used route for locals travelling between rural townships.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1275\" data-end=\"1437\">Investigators will now work to determine what caused the vehicle to leave the road, including examining road conditions, speed and any other contributing factors.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1439\" data-end=\"1546\">Major Collision Investigation Unit officers may assist with inquiries as part of the ongoing investigation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1548\" data-end=\"1694\">Police are urging anyone who witnessed the crash, or who may have dash cam footage from the area around the time of the incident, to come forward.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1696\" data-end=\"1777\">Information can be provided to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crimestoppersvic.com.au\/\">website.<\/a><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1779\" data-end=\"1913\">The death adds to Victoria\u2019s road toll, which continues to be closely monitored by authorities as part of ongoing road safety efforts.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1915\" data-end=\"2038\">Motorists are reminded to take extra care on regional roads, particularly on stretches where conditions can change quickly.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2040\" data-end=\"2096\">Further updates are expected as investigations continue.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in Wellsford on Tuesday afternoon, with police now investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
